ProBPR Zoom Integration Guide

This guide explains how an authorized ProBPR training provider adds, uses, troubleshoots, disconnects and removes the ProBPR Zoom integration.

Last updated: August 29, 2026Support: o.potapenko.stom@gmail.com

Overview

ProBPR allows a training provider to connect its own Zoom account through OAuth. The integration can synchronize Zoom users/hosts, create or link Zoom Meetings for educational events, read meeting status and manage meeting registrants when registration is enabled.

ProBPR does not ask for the provider’s Zoom password. Authorization takes place on Zoom.

01

Adding the App

  1. Sign in to your ProBPR provider account.
  2. Open Settings → Integrations → Zoom.
  3. Click Connect Zoom.
  4. You will be redirected to Zoom. Sign in with the Zoom account that should be connected to this ProBPR provider.
  5. Review the permissions requested by ProBPR and approve the authorization.
  6. Zoom redirects you back to ProBPR. The integration page will show the connected Zoom account and available users/hosts.
  7. Use Check connection if you want to run the integration diagnostics.
Account permissions: Depending on your Zoom account settings, an account owner/admin may need to approve the application before it can be authorized.
02

Using the App

Synchronize Zoom users / hosts

On the Zoom integration page, use Update Zoom users to refresh available Zoom users. Licensed hosts can then be selected for an event.

Create or link a meeting

  1. Open the required event in ProBPR.
  2. Open the event’s Integration settings.
  3. Select an available Zoom host.
  4. Create a new Zoom Meeting in ProBPR or link an existing meeting owned by the connected account.

Participants and join links

When Zoom meeting registration is used, ProBPR can synchronize eligible confirmed participants as Zoom registrants and store the corresponding participant join information required for access from the learning room.

Meeting management

ProBPR can refresh meeting information, display the meeting’s current state and request a fresh host start URL when an authorized provider user explicitly chooses to start the meeting.

Troubleshooting

Connection is not available

Confirm that the platform administrator has enabled the Zoom integration and configured the Production Client ID and Client Secret.

Not all Zoom users are visible

The connected Zoom app/account may not provide account-level access to the full users list. Run “Check connection” and review the Users API diagnostic.

Meeting actions fail

Run diagnostics and verify that the app has the meeting management permissions required by the current ProBPR integration.

Registrant synchronization fails

Confirm that the meeting supports registration, the participant is eligible in ProBPR and the required registrant permissions are available.

If the issue remains, create a support case and include your ProBPR provider name, the affected event and the Zoom account email. Do not send passwords or OAuth tokens.

04

Disconnecting Zoom from ProBPR

  1. Sign in to ProBPR.
  2. Open Settings → Integrations → Zoom.
  3. Click Disconnect Zoom and confirm.

ProBPR clears the stored OAuth connection credentials and the local synchronized host list for that provider. Disconnecting does not automatically delete meetings that already exist in the provider’s Zoom account.

05

Removing the App from Zoom

If you also want to remove the authorization on the Zoom side, sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace and remove ProBPR from your installed/added apps. Zoom account owners and admins can also remove the app through the account’s Marketplace app management.

After removal, ProBPR will no longer be able to use the authorization. To use the integration again, add/authorize the app again from ProBPR.

06

Data & security

  • OAuth authorization happens on Zoom; ProBPR does not receive the user’s Zoom password.
  • OAuth tokens stored by ProBPR are encrypted at rest using the platform’s protected integration storage.
  • ProBPR accesses Zoom data only for the integration functions authorized for the connected provider.
  • A fresh host start URL is requested only when needed and is not stored as a permanent credential by the meeting-management flow.
  • For details about personal data processing, see the Privacy Policy.
